March 2018
In March of 2018, the City of Dublin and Dublin City Schools partnered together for a special event to celebrate achievements and give the public a glimpse into future community plans.
As graphic designer for the City of Dublin, I created a design system that would merge the two distinct brands for a variety of uses: event marketing and social media, presentation decks, signage and print.
Photos. Photos. Photos. + Styling
Engagement across the City’s social media and communication platforms increased when using higher quality photos.
I had been leading efforts to build the City's photography library and as a result there was a large collection of Dublin community moments available. View City of Dublin's photo library.
Two different greens? No problem.
Combining both colors into a gradient was a fresh solution and an easy choice (no matter what Kermit says).
Hand Lettering
Hand lettering was all the rage in in 2018 and our very own Dublin YPA (Young Professional Academy) student, Aubrey Jones, drew a Dublin Is Home graphic that I incorporated into the design. Thanks Aubrey!
A whimsical and engaging design that was flexible enough to show a variety of photos for different applications and could be owned by both organizations.
State of Community Presentation. Dana McDaniel (City Manager) and Todd Hoadley (DCS Superintendent).
300+ in attendance for the State of the Community at The Exchange at Bridge Park.
Branded photo booth experience – Simple Booth.
